Here you can watch a short film that not only shows the consulting room, but also gives an impression of the rest of the practice. Besides a spacious admission area where cat and dog are separated, there is also an operating room with the most modern equipment, a sterilisation room and a second consulting room with a laboratory. The practice also has a modern dental cleaning machine with which the teeth of your dog, cat or rabbit can be cleaned and treated.
On entering the building, you will immediately find yourself in our waiting room. In the waiting room you will also find the reception desk. When you come for an appointment, please tell the assistant that you are present. Then you can sit in the waiting room until the vet calls you in. To collect food and medication, you can also contact the assistant, who can help you and give advice if necessary.
When you are picked up from the waiting room, the vet will take you to one of the consulting rooms. We have two consulting rooms that are both equipped with all the standard equipment and medicines needed.
Our operating theatre is located at the back of the practice. The operating theatre is equipped with an operating table and a comprehensive anaesthesia trolley with oxygen generator, vapour anaesthetic and monitor. Furthermore, all necessary sterile instruments and materials are available in our operating room.
The admission area is adjacent to the operating theatre and consists of two rooms separated by a half wall. Both areas are equipped with holding pens so that we can separate dogs from cats.
The veterinary surgeon can see at a glance how the animals are doing. There is always a veterinary attendant present in the enclosure who looks after the animals.
Behind the admission room is the sterilisation room. This room is used for washing, cleaning and sterilising the surgical instruments.
In our modern laboratory, we can carry out many skin, stool, urine and blood tests in house if further investigation is required.
The advantage of an in-house laboratory is that we have the results within an hour in order to make a diagnosis and initiate the appropriate treatment.
Our X-ray room is equipped with a semi-digital X-ray machine. We can accurately assess the photos taken on a computer within minutes.
In addition to a 'regular' X-ray machine, we also have a dental X-ray machine for making dental photos.
